We all know we should drink no less than eight 8 ounce glasses of water each day, but sometimes that can be difficult to get in.  Luckily – there are an abundance of OTHER ways to get your hydration on!  The list is long – but my time is short, so I am sticking with 5.

Tomato Sauce

Of course this depends on the brand – but tomato sauce can actually be about 90% water!  Additionally – it contains roughly 50 calories for 1/2 cup – so drink up!  Okay – so not really drink up – but eat up and be hydrated!

Spinach

I know you want a big glass of spinach juice instead of water – ha!  Spinach is so super hydrating AND with only 7 calories for a full cup – who can pass this up?  That same amount will also provide half your daily Vitamin A.  Can you say perfect?  Throw a handful or cup into the blender and make a smoothie – even better!

Blueberries

Seriously….is there ANYTHING this fruit can’t do?  They contain tons of water – so eat up and enjoy the 47,000 benefits of this super fruit!

Jello

The fun guy of the group – sugar-free jello has few calories, is sweet and oh-so-fun to eat – all while keeping you hydrated!  The gelatin isn’t too bad for your joints either.

Watermelon

Duh!  BUT – did you know that a recent study from University of Aberdeen Medical School found that the combination of salt, water, minerals and natural sugar actually hydrates better than water or even sports drinks??  Hmm….neither did I – which is exactly why it made my short list!
